Before quotation and contract, record the raw-material species and lot, pretreatment and particle size, feed moisture, batch mass, and the complete cycle from feeding through pressing, oil drainage, cake discharge, cleaning and restart. The FAT/SAT protocol must also define the continuous test duration, permitted stops, weighing and calibration method, sampling or laboratory method, acceptance tolerance, utilities and operator actions included. Only criteria written into the signed contract are binding.
“Automatic” in the table describes the pressing and heating control configuration. It does not mean that feeding, cake removal, cleaning or all material handling are unattended.
