Automatic anti-theft cap sealing machine

Automatic anti-theft cap sealing machine

This machine is intended for roll-on pilfer-proof (ROPP), twist-off aluminum tamper-evident caps on compatible bottle finishes. Selection should be based on the actual bottle-and-cap pair, not nominal cap diameter alone, because the rolling tooling, bottle handling parts and acceptance limits depend on the package geometry.

Application and selection boundary

  • Product family: Sealing Machine Series
  • Published parameter reference: Filling and packaging equipment parameter library
  • Typical packages include liquor, wine and seasoning liquids when they use a compatible aluminum tamper-evident closure.
  • This is a rolling and forming process for an aluminum cap skirt; it should not be selected as a general-purpose press-on capper.

Bottle and cap information to confirm

  • Provide the bottle-finish drawing or measured samples, including finish diameter and profile, finish height, thread geometry and the surfaces used to locate or support the bottle.
  • Provide the cap drawing and production samples, including cap-skirt diameter and height, aluminum specification, liner or sealing construction, knurl pattern and the bridge or perforation position of the tamper-evident band.
  • State the bottle and cap tolerance range, required production rate and all formats to be handled. No working range should be inferred from a single nominal size.

Rolling head and format setup

The available technical description specifies a balanced four-roller head. The roller profile, head height and axial or radial settings still need to be matched to the supplied bottle finish and cap skirt. The formed thread and lower band must align with the specified knurling and bridge position without cutting, wrinkling or distorting the cap beyond the agreed limit.

For more than one bottle format, confirm the required star wheel, bottle guide, infeed screw and neck-positioning parts. The quotation should identify which change parts are included and which settings must be recorded for repeatable changeover.

Sample trial and acceptance

  • Send production-representative sample bottles and caps; samples near known dimensional limits are preferable when available.
  • Run enough consecutive samples to evaluate feeding, bottle-mouth positioning, rolling consistency and the agreed line rate, rather than approving one sealed bottle only.
  • Agree acceptance criteria before manufacture: seal appearance, cap level and skirt condition, leakage result under a defined test method, opening torque or force, and whether the tamper-evident bridges break as specified on first opening.
  • Record the sampling quantity, test method and pass limits in the factory acceptance test or purchase specification.

Line integration and quotation scope

For a complete project, review the Filling Package Overview and Production Line Overview. The quotation should list supported formats, rolling-head tooling, bottle change parts, sample-test scope, spare or wear parts, commissioning boundaries and the acceptance documents to be supplied.

Manufacturer pricing depends on the confirmed cap tooling, bottle-format parts, cap-feeding arrangement, controls, guarding and destination. Delivery, installation, commissioning, training and after-sales support apply only as stated in the written quotation and contract.
