Direct Cold-Press Trial and Acceptance Record

The 355-500 series is positioned for direct hydraulic cold pressing after cleaning and crushing. Do not use a generic oil-yield table: validate the selected model with the buyer's actual material and agreed finished-oil target.

Trial fieldRecord before acceptance
Raw material routeWalnut, sea buckthorn seed, perilla, coconut, tea seed, hemp, flaxseed, almond, pine nut or pumpkin seed; identify the exact lot
Feed conditionCleaning result, measured moisture, low-temperature drying when required, particle-size range and feed temperature
Machine setupBasket diameter, actual load, pressure sequence, holding time, unloading time and complete cycle time
Oil resultNet oil after the agreed settling or filtration step, with temperature and container tare recorded
Cake resultCake mass, condition and residual oil measured by the agreed laboratory method
Acceptance basisRepeatable same-lot trials, agreed sampling, measuring instruments and written acceptance limits

Industrial materials such as waste bleaching clay or activated-carbon decolorizer require a separate SDS review, closed collection, worker protection and disposal plan. They are not part of a food-oil cold-press acceptance test.

Pressing Barrel Selection Guide:

  • Standard barrel specifications:
    • Diameter: 390mm
    • Length: 800mm
    • Volume: 95.6 liters (can hold about 100kg of crushed material, continuously compacted)
    • Can press all oil materials
  • 300mm diameter is recommended as sesame-specific barrel
    • Suitable for sesame and other small particle oil materials

    • Verify small-particle loading, drainage, complete cycle time and cake residual oil by trial.

    • Volume: 56 liters

  • 480mm /560mm /630mm diameter is recommended for oil materials requiring long pressing time
    • Suitable for oil materials requiring long pressing time

    • Confirm load, pressure-holding time and the complete cycle with the selected barrel.

    • Volume: 144/197/249 liters

  • Optional 2100 mm length dual barrel model available, mainstream model is 1200 mm length single barrel model

480 Material Route: Plan Larger-Batch Cold-Press Scheduling

The 480 series is aimed at larger cold-press batches and heavier production scheduling. The process is still direct pressing after cleaning and crushing; project risk shifts toward material handling, batch buffering, filtration capacity, lifting access and planned maintenance.

Representative project materials

  • Walnut and pine nut: protect kernels from oxidation, confirm storage age and use a uniform crush.
  • Sea buckthorn seed: document separation, drying and the oil-bearing fraction before sizing the batch.
  • Hemp and flaxseed: manage fine particles, dust, crusher heat and filter loading.
  • Almond: confirm kernel grade, foreign material and the cleaning procedure between lots.

480-series line checks

The RFQ should include feed and discharge handling, operator access, floor loading, installed power, lifting method, buffer capacity, filtration area, oil storage and the intended number of cycles per shift. Validate the complete cycle, not only pressure-holding time, and calculate output from witnessed runs.

Separate industrial duty

If the project handles waste clay or spent activated carbon, specify material hazards, solvent or volatile content, closed collection, cleaning, protective equipment and disposal. Do not share a food-oil acceptance protocol with industrial residues.

Delivery and After-sales Scope

Before Shipment

  • Confirm the machine configuration, voltage, accessories and packing list in the quotation.
  • Request the final drawing, operating manual and available test records for the supplied model.
  • Agree on installation, commissioning and operator-guidance responsibilities before the order is released.

Installation and Operation

  • Follow the supplied manual for hydraulic oil filling, electrical checks, rotation checks and the first no-load movement.
  • Record the agreed acceptance material, batch load, cycle conditions and observable oil/cake results during commissioning.
  • Remote guidance or on-site service, where required, is quoted according to the destination and project scope.

Spare Parts and Technical Questions

  • Identify replacement parts by machine model, drawing reference and component photo.
  • Confirm price, availability and delivery time for each spare-parts request.
  • Submit operating data, pressure readings, photos or video through the contact page for diagnosis.
