Customized Service Overview

A custom hydraulic press should be selected from documented material properties, process targets, site conditions, safety requirements, and budget. The final configuration and acceptance criteria are confirmed through engineering review and, where needed, a representative sample trial.

Conditions That Must Be Verified

Edible Oil Materials

  • Raw-material identity, moisture, laboratory oil content, particle size, temperature, and pretreatment
  • Batch load, pressure program, pressing time, oil collection method, filtration, and number of repeated tests
  • Oil yield definition, residual oil in cake, oil quality targets, and laboratory methods
  • Required food-contact materials, cleaning procedure, and applicable local compliance requirements

Residues, Waste, and Sludge

  • Full composition, solids content, initial moisture range, viscosity, particle size, contaminants, corrosiveness, and SDS
  • Required cake moisture or volume-reduction target, including the sampling and laboratory method
  • Filtrate handling, odor or emissions controls, cake discharge, cleaning, and disposal responsibilities
  • Material variability, expected batch cycle, consumables, and compatibility of seals, filter cloth, and contact parts

Capacity and Utilities

  • Rated pressure and structural design confirmed by drawings, calculations, and machine nameplate
  • Effective batch load confirmed using the actual material bulk density rather than barrel volume alone
  • Daily capacity calculated from verified batch load, complete cycle time, cleaning time, shifts, and planned availability
  • Electrical load, heating demand, cooling, compressed air, water, drainage, floor loading, and installation clearances

  • Pressure Class: Select within the available 300-1000 ton range after engineering review
  • Barrel Size: Match diameter and height to material behavior and verified batch requirements
  • Equipment Dimensions: Coordinate the footprint and service clearances with the site layout

2. Functional Configuration

  • Automation: Manual, semi-automatic, or line-integrated controls based on the operating sequence
  • Temperature Control: Select heating and monitoring functions for the agreed process window
  • Filtration: Size filtration stages against test results, target clarity, viscosity, and throughput

3. Special-Material Configuration

  • Multi-Barrel Layout: Double-barrel, triple-barrel, or parallel units based on cycle analysis
  • Contact Materials: Select corrosion resistance and food-contact grade from the material composition and local requirements

Premium Edible Oil Batch Pressing

Possible configuration: hydraulic press, material preparation equipment, temperature monitoring, filtration, and protected oil storage.

Verify before selection: actual oil content and moisture, pretreatment, batch cycle, oil yield calculation, residual oil, clarity, flavor or quality tests, and cleaning requirements.

High-Impurity or Special-Material Pressing

Possible configuration: compatible contact materials, selected seals, controlled pressure program, staged filtration, and easier-cleaning discharge paths.

Verify before selection: chemical compatibility, impurity range, plugging behavior, filtrate quality, consumable life, cleaning time, and safety controls.

Sludge or Residue Dewatering

Possible configuration: large or multiple barrels, selected filter cloth, filtrate collection, mechanical discharge, and site-specific guarding.

Verify before selection: feed variability, initial and final moisture test methods, cake handling, cycle time, filtrate treatment, odor or emissions requirements, and disposal compliance. No moisture-reduction percentage should be treated as guaranteed without a representative witnessed trial and written acceptance criteria.

Customization and Acceptance Process

  1. Requirements Review: Document material properties, target output, site conditions, utilities, safety constraints, and required records.
  2. Sample Trial: Agree on the test protocol, witness method, measurements, repeated batches, and acceptance criteria.
  3. Engineering Proposal: Issue an itemized configuration, layout, utility list, exclusions, and preliminary drawings for review.
  4. Production and Factory Acceptance: Inspect the completed equipment and run the agreed no-load and material tests with recorded results.
  5. Delivery and After-Sales: Define installation, commissioning, training, warranty, spare parts, maintenance, response times, and site services in the contract. Ongoing technical support is available within the agreed support arrangement; other after-sales obligations follow the contract scope.
