Case packing and palletizing equipment

Automatic case packing equipment

End-of-line equipment converts saleable bottles into stable shipping units. Case dimensions, bottle arrangement, carton quality, pallet pattern and warehouse handling determine the required machinery. A quote based only on bottles per hour can miss the interfaces that control actual line performance.

Position at the end of the line

A typical route is:

Final inspection -> case erecting -> product grouping and case packing -> carton closing and sealing -> check or identification step if required -> palletizing -> load transfer

The project boundary should state whether empty cases, dividers, tape or adhesive, pallets, stretch wrapping and warehouse conveyors are included.

Packaging data to define

  • Bottle or container dimensions, weight and center of gravity
  • Units per case and required pack orientation
  • Carton style, board quality, closure method and supplied tolerances
  • Divider, tray, shrink bundle or other secondary package
  • Pallet dimensions, layer pattern, maximum load and transfer direction
  • Required label, code or traceability point
  • Available floor space, ceiling height and forklift access

Published specifications are available on the product pages. Final layout and cycle basis require the approved case, product and pallet pattern.

Decisions that affect project price

  • Single machine or linked case-to-pallet line
  • Number of bottle, case and pallet formats
  • Product grouping, divider insertion and case closing method
  • Robot gripper, pallet dispenser and layer-sheet scope
  • Safety fencing, access gates and controls integration
  • Reject, accumulation and warehouse conveyor boundary
  • Export packing, delivery, installation and operator training

Quote request checklist

Send bottle, carton, divider and pallet drawings or samples, pack pattern, target output, upstream conveyor information, available layout and height, warehouse transfer method, utilities and destination. Include photos of existing equipment and identify retained conveyors or pallet-handling systems.

FAT, installation and service boundary

FAT should use the agreed packaging materials and verify case forming, product orientation, closure quality, pallet pattern, load stability, changeover and linked controls. Packaging consumables, local foundations, fencing, lifting, installation labor, travel, commissioning, training, gripper spares and after-sales response must be itemized in the quotation and contract.
