Compare machine models
Check hot-press, cold-press and small-shop models by batch capacity.
Open pageCorn germ from wet milling, dry milling, or another separation process can differ in moisture, starch, bran, and particle structure. The quotation must identify the germ source and condition before selecting drying, flaking, conditioning, and extraction equipment.

State wet or dry germ, milling process, moisture, starch and bran carryover, impurities, storage time, and available oil analysis. Wet germ must be stabilized or dried promptly. Quote capacity on clean prepared germ and record any receiving or drying loss separately.
For commercial duty, compare continuous screw pressing, pre-pressing, or another dedicated extraction route according to germ condition, throughput, oil target, and meal use. A hydraulic batch trial can compare low-temperature and conditioned samples but should not define plant capacity without measured cycle and mass-balance data.
Define crude filtered or refined corn germ oil, solids, moisture, color, odor, degumming and refining scope, and required laboratory tests. State whether meal or cake quality and residual oil are part of acceptance.
Record receiving and prepared-germ weights, rejected impurities, moisture before and after stabilization or drying, grind or flake condition, conditioning settings, feed rate or batch charge, crude and filtered oil, and meal or cake. Document filter loading, oil sampling points, residual-oil test method, cleaning, and the exact germ lot used for any capacity comparison.
Send the germ source and analysis, clean-germ throughput, drying and extraction scope, oil and meal targets, utilities, layout, and destination for a corn germ line quotation.
