Open pageDry copra, controlled-dry coconut meat, fresh coconut pulp, coconut milk, and coconut water require different equipment. A hydraulic pressing quotation must state the prepared solid feed; milk, juice, or high-moisture puree is not direct feed for a standard press basket.

For a pressing line, identify clean copra pieces or coconut meat that will be dried to a stable pressing condition. Record moisture, mold, scorched material, storage history, and available free-fatty-acid data. A wet-process virgin coconut oil project must instead define milk extraction and oil-water separation.
Prepared copra or dried meat can be evaluated in a hydraulic batch press. A wet-process route requires pulping or milk extraction followed by separation of cream, water, and solids. The two routes have different tanks, cleaning needs, mass balances, and finished-oil definitions.
For pressed oil, define visible water, sediment, clarity, aroma, and whether the product remains crude-filtered or proceeds to refining. Filtration and tank operation must account for coconut oil solidification at local ambient conditions. For wet-process oil, define the oil-water separation endpoint and free-water check before storage.
State the input basis and record rejected material, moisture before pressing or milk separation, cut or grind size, batch charge or separator settings, oil temperature, crude oil, separated water and solids, filtered oil, and cake where applicable. Check water, sediment, clarity, aroma, filtration flow at the agreed temperature, product retention, and cleaning of all coconut-contact surfaces.
Send the exact coconut feed state, capacity basis, dry or wet route, oil target, utilities, ambient conditions, and destination so the quotation includes the correct preparation and separation modules.
