Liquid filling machines

Intelligent liquid filling machine

The filler is the metering center of a packaging line. Its configuration must match the liquid, container, target output and cleaning method while leaving stable interfaces for closure, inspection and labeling. Comparing head count alone is not enough to prepare a reliable purchase price.

Position in the production line

A common route is:

Product storage or buffer -> final filtration -> product supply and filling -> capping or sealing -> inspection -> labeling and coding -> packing

The quote should identify who supplies the product tank, pump, pipelines, level control, conveyors and communication signals. These interfaces often determine whether a stand-alone machine can operate as part of the complete line.

Product and package basis

Provide the actual operating range for:

  • Edible oil, beverage, wine, seasoning liquid or other specified product
  • Viscosity, temperature, foaming tendency, particles and cleaning compatibility
  • Glass or PET bottle, can, jerrycan, drum or another approved container
  • Fill volume range and number of package formats
  • Required metering principle and the buyer's acceptance method
  • Product-contact material and hygiene requirements

Chemically aggressive products need a separate material and safety review. Food and chemical duties should not be combined without written engineering confirmation.

Decisions that change the purchase price

  • Stand-alone filler, linked line or integrated monoblock
  • Metering method, number of filling positions and product supply system
  • Container formats, change parts and automatic bottle handling
  • Anti-drip, product recovery and cleaning arrangement
  • Capper, inspection, labeling, coding and end-of-line scope
  • Controls integration, documentation, export packing and destination service

Quote request checklist

Send the product data sheet, representative liquid if testing is needed, container and closure drawings or samples, fill range, target output, shift plan, cleaning method, utilities, plant layout, required upstream/downstream modules and destination. Identify any existing equipment that must exchange bottles or signals with the new filler.

FAT, SAT and after-sales boundary

The acceptance protocol should define the test product or substitute, container range, run duration, metering method, sample plan, spill or drip condition, changeover and line interlocks. Site installation, local labor, piping, cabling, travel, commissioning, training, spare parts and warranty terms are provided only as listed in the signed quotation and contract.
