This series covers the bottle-handling and packaging section used after wine or another fermented liquid has been clarified and approved for filling. It helps buyers combine rinsing, low-vacuum filling, corking, capsule shrinking, labeling and end-of-line packing without treating each machine as an isolated purchase.
Position in the production line
A common packaging route is:
Clarified product or buffer tank -> final filtration if specified -> bottle rinsing -> filling -> corking or capping -> capsule shrinking -> labeling and coding -> case packing
Fermentation vessels, product treatment, laboratory controls, utilities and cold storage are separate project boundaries unless they are explicitly included in the equipment list and price.
Product, bottle and closure fit
The selection should be based on the actual liquid and package:
- Still wine, fruit wine or another clarified, non-carbonated liquid
- Product temperature, foaming tendency, solids condition and oxygen-control requirement
- Glass bottle dimensions, neck finish and required fill-level appearance
- Natural cork, synthetic cork or another closure supplied for testing
- Capsule, label and case format used after closure
- Cleaning method and material-contact requirements specified by the buyer
Carbonated, sterile or pressure-sensitive products require a separate process review and should not be assumed to fit a standard low-vacuum configuration.

Procurement decisions that affect the quote

Quote request data
Send the liquid specification, bottle drawing and samples, closure samples, target output, operating schedule, cleaning method, required line modules, voltage, layout and destination. If a product trial is requested, agree the sample quantity, transport responsibility, test method and disposal before shipment.
Acceptance and after-sales boundary
FAT should use the approved bottle and closure with the agreed product or a documented substitute. The protocol should define fill-level checks, bottle transfer, cork insertion, leakage criteria, changeover and line interlocks. Installation, site commissioning, travel, local labor, operator training, spare parts and remote support are supplied only to the extent written in the quotation and contract.
