Factory Visit Checklist
- Confirm the company name, business license, factory address, contracting entity, bank beneficiary, and export entity.
- Select machines in production and trace them from drawing and material list through assembly, testing, nameplate, and packing.
- Inspect machining, welding, hydraulic and electrical assembly, guarding, test instruments, calibration status, and nonconformance records.
- Review a current production schedule and redacted shipment records if lead time or manufacturing capacity is material to the purchase.
- Photograph agreed evidence and record open items, corrective actions, retest requirements, and responsible parties.
Documents and Certificates
If ISO, CE, patents, high-tech status, food-contact compliance, awards, or other qualifications are cited, request a current copy showing the holder, number, issuing body, scope, covered site or product, and validity dates. Verify the document with the issuer or official database where possible. A logo or list on a webpage is not sufficient evidence.
Sample Trial and Factory Acceptance
Use a representative raw-material sample and agree on preparation, batch load, pressure program, cycle time, measurements, repeated runs, and acceptance criteria. The factory acceptance plan should cover configuration, hydraulic pressure and leakage, controls, interlocks, emergency stop, guarding, included accessories, trial results, documents, and packing.
