This capping machine applies compatible plastic press-on closures by guiding and pressing them onto the bottle finish. Closure geometry, bottle support and pressing force determine the result, so the bottle-and-cap pair must be evaluated together.

What to provide for a manufacturer quotation
- Bottle and cap drawings or samples, including tolerances, cap engagement features and support surfaces.
- Required cap position, pressing force or travel limits, appearance and leak-test criteria.
- Line rate, bottle spacing, cap feeder scope, conveyor height and direction.
- Format parts, sample-run quantity, spare or wear parts and commissioning requirements.
Use representative samples for the factory acceptance test whenever practical. The agreed test material, run duration, sampling method and pass limits should be written into the purchase specification.
