What to provide for a manufacturer quotation
- Product formulation, batch size, daily schedule and approved pasteurization and cooling profile.
- Required tank functions, contact materials, cleaning method and filling or packaging format.
- Steam or hot-water supply, cooling medium, electrical power, water quality and drainage.
- Process responsibility, instrumentation, FAT or SAT checks, documentation and training requested.
Use representative samples for the factory acceptance test whenever practical. The agreed test material, run duration, sampling method and pass limits should be written into the purchase specification.
