Verify the Event Record if It Matters

If exhibition participation is part of supplier due diligence, request:

• Official exhibitor directory or organizer confirmation
• Event name, date, venue, booth number, and registered exhibitor entity
• Dated booth photographs or unedited video showing the company and equipment
• Permission to publish any visitor, customer, official, media, award, or contract information

Exhibition participation alone does not establish factory ownership, production capacity, certification, or successful deliveries.

Verify the Displayed Equipment

For a displayed hydraulic press or automatic line, record the visible model and nameplate, then request the current model-specific specification and quotation.

Hydraulic Press

• Model, rated pressure, cylinder and barrel dimensions, effective batch load, installed power, heating, controls, safety devices, and material-contact parts
• Drawing, bill of materials, hydraulic and electrical diagrams, pressure-test method, calibration records, and factory acceptance plan
• Representative sample trial for oil yield or recovery, cake residual oil, cycle time, oil quality, dewatering, and cleaning requirements

Production Line

• Included preparation, pressing, filtration, storage, refining, filling, conveying, controls, and packing equipment
• Line balance, utilities, staffing, product changeover, cleaning, bottlenecks, and downstream interfaces
• Clear division between displayed equipment, optional equipment, purchased components, and excluded site work

Technical parameters should come from the applicable model table, approved drawing, nameplate, and signed quotation. Do not use a fixed capacity or oil-yield improvement without the raw material, preparation, test method, operating hours, and repeated trial results.

Questions to Ask at the Stand

• Which legal entity manufactures, contracts, invoices, receives payment, and exports?
• Which components are manufactured, purchased, or subcontracted?
• Can the proposed material be tested with a representative sample?
• What records are supplied for materials, welding, calibration, pressure, electrical safety, and final inspection?
• Which certificates are current, who holds them, and what site, product, or process do they cover?
• What is included in installation, commissioning, training, warranty, spare parts, and ongoing technical support?

Certificate and Export Checks

Request current copies and verify the holder, number, issuer, scope, and validity of any ISO, CE, food-contact, patent, high-tech, award, or other document cited. For export, agree on the commercial invoice, packing list, HS code, origin document where included, inspection document where required, manuals, drawings, destination-language labels, packing, Incoterm, freight, customs, and destination conformity requirements.

Move from Exhibition Interest to a Purchase Decision

1. Submit the material and project requirements.
2. Receive an itemized configuration with assumptions and exclusions.
3. Approve a sample-trial protocol and acceptance criteria.
4. Review drawings, utilities, documents, lead time, and commercial terms.
5. Witness factory acceptance and close corrective actions before shipment.
