Technical Design and Verification

Configurable Technical Features

Features vary by model and order. Confirm each function in the itemized quotation, electrical and hydraulic drawings, control description, bill of materials, and factory acceptance test.

Control System

  • A PLC and touch-screen interface may be configured for automatic sequences, status display, alarms, and operating records.
  • Confirm controller and screen models, I/O list, sensor types, alarm list, user permissions, language, recipe handling, data retention, and backup method.
  • Verify each automatic action, interlock, emergency stop, alarm, and manual fallback during factory acceptance.

Pressure Control

  • Multi-stage pressure recipes may control approach, pressing, hold, and return steps for different materials.
  • If a proposal states pressure resolution or control accuracy such as 0.1 MPa, request the sensor range, instrument accuracy, calibration certificate, control tolerance, sampling rate, and acceptance method. Display resolution is not the same as closed-loop control accuracy.
  • Confirm the usable pressure range, relief settings, hold stability, leakage criteria, and recorded pressure curve on the ordered machine.
  • Compare oil recovery, cake residual oil, cycle time, temperature, and quality using representative repeated trials before adopting a recipe.

Energy and Environmental Conditions

  • Variable-frequency drives, staged pumps, heaters, insulation, and automatic standby are configuration options whose effect depends on the duty cycle.
  • Measure electricity and any thermal energy over the same material, output, cycle boundary, and operating period when comparing configurations. Do not use a fixed saving percentage without baseline data and a stated measurement method.
  • Nutrient retention, emissions, wastewater, noise, food-contact status, and environmental compliance require appropriate sampling, laboratory tests, site controls, and applicable regulatory documents. Terms such as "zero pollution" are not a substitute for those records.

Engineering Records to Request

  • Revision-controlled drawings, calculations where applicable, bill of materials, software or recipe version, and change history
  • Material and component certificates required by the specification
  • Instrument calibration records and factory test data
  • Sample-trial protocol, raw data, laboratory reports, deviations, and retest results
  • Operating manual, maintenance plan, spare-parts list, electrical backup, and hydraulic diagram

R&D and Intellectual Property Claims

An annual R&D spending ratio, team experience figure, laboratory claim, or project count should only be used when supported by a defined reporting period, calculation basis, and auditable records. These figures are not used here as equipment-performance evidence.

If patents or software copyrights are cited, request the registration number, title, owner, jurisdiction, legal status, expiry date, and an explanation of which ordered feature is covered. Verify the record in the relevant official database rather than relying on an aggregate patent count.

Acceptance Focus

The procurement decision should be based on the ordered configuration, witnessed tests, traceable measurements, complete documents, and written acceptance criteria. Any expected improvement in yield, energy use, labor, quality, or uptime should be treated as a test target until verified under the buyer's material and operating conditions.
